I found my way here through the CS Nottingham group and love your blog site mate... its really well written, presented and therefore interestin! Above all else, you've reminded me of how much I love travellin... Nice Itinerary

My travels are within the music & entertainment industry & great friends, but man..I do luv these adventures. In two weeks, I will visit the Costa Rican exhibit here in Mtl. It ain't the real thing but I can image. Been to some cool destinations though. My life is also enriched with raising my family, so I believe in 10 yrs, I will grant myself access to places I see here.

I live here in Montreal,  we are quite fortunate to blend this colorful city with people from all over the world.

hi what means "eastern europe"? everything behind iron curtain? or geographical name? because these meanings are very diferent....i am from czech republic and i hate when people from "west" say, that we are from east europe....we are from middle europe...because geography is more interesting than politics...i am sorry, but i had to write it....sorry
by the way - your site is very nice and interesting...

Hey! So I have stumbled across your site as others have through gumtree and I am impressed. I have found it very strange as you are following a similar life to me. I went travelling around Austrailia, I love pembrokeshire and last year I spent 3 months around eastern Europe. Croatia is a must for me, so many amazing memories and like minded travellers especially on the island of korcula. If you do go around the islands with people you meet the best option is to take the offers of rooms from the locals outside the ferry ports. Get in touch if you want to hear more...Oh and I live in Notts too! x

Hello Ross, good luck with your trip to 'Eastern Europe'. I come from Slovakia (tend to refer to it as Central Europe:-) but if you do happen to go there...enjoy a nice chilled beer in the city of Banska Bystrica - I went to uni there and there is a lovely main square with neat hills surrounding the town...most people end up in Bratislava...too sad.
I come from Bojnice - a beautiful castle - but you would have to be lucky to see an older lady, a former guide, to tell you all the exciting stories about the castle and how a noble Palffy fell in love with a French woman but his castle was not good enough for her father...by the time he fixed it up to her standards (took him about 22 years) she married someone else:-)
Anyway found you site useful - have some friends coming from Slovakia to Gold Coast and they needed someone to tell them what to do in Oz.

Hi, am really interested to learn more about u. im 21 and in a bit of a pickle! most of my friends are in relationships and have jobs etc and in may of this year i have booked to go to durban s/africa for 10days. am really looking for some1 to come with me. I plan to do some work in the local township where i have some friends and a good connection with the school where help is always needed. i kno eastern europe is your plan but fancy a wee jaunt to durbs? or can u point me in the direction of some1 who would be interested

g day mate great to see you had a blast in ozz please come back and travel to echuca see the mighty murray and all the old paddel steamers then grab me and travel to perth and start a adventure up yhe west ozz coast up to broome /cape lavekke even gibb river road at kunnanurra, i love the area but so much to see ok mate thanks u got a neat site cheers bushie pete..ps u must do bungle bungles..
